The Stables is on the land which came with Onemonoma, in a triangle between three roads; its boundaries are perhaps 100 yards by 100 yards by 90 yards. It is down by the river, it has no woodland or other such entertainment for the riders, how big is this course anyway? On whose land?
I suspect that Justin sees Berrow as a good place for the course to keep Lillian happy

But it seems as if some stuff for the course is already in place, and I feel that Neil & co might have noticed.
100 yards along, then a very sharp turn, then 90 yards back, then a very sharp turn… horses aren’t much wider than six inches, right?
