Over the years, Brian has spent a small fortune on lawyers and financial advisers, keeping the Aldridge coffers filled. Now, he’s reduced to tearing around in a panic in a desperate attempt to future-proof his business, but he’s running out of options. Stella, still a shadowy figure in the Ambridge landscape, offers a glimmer of hope, but that means Brian will have to have a very awkward conversation with a family member.
There’s also a glimmer of opportunity for Tracy, so she pulls out all the stops to make a good impression, but when her past returns to haunt her, that glimmer might be snuffed out.
Meanwhile, on the cricket pitch, where ageing muscles have been tested to breaking point, there’s a bit of an emergency.
