Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update April May 3-7

The coronavirus has finally caught up with the poor folk of Ambridge, and with actors unable to record their parts, The Archers will be put out to pasture for the next three weeks. Instead, Radio 4 will broadcast three themed weeks of episodes from the archive, briefly replacing new episodes.
The first week features episodes that take us back to important moments in the lives of different Ambridge residents, including four weddings, when some favourite characters walk down the aisle, and one in which the village bids farewell to a loved one. New episodes of The Archers are planned to broadcast from May 25th.
