Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update May 1-5

Over in Grundyland, they’re reaching for the carding brush, dagging shears and the finest sheep shampoo money can buy as Ed gets his lambs ready for the Borchester show, and decides which of his flock is the fairest of them all.
A similar activity is going on at Grey Gables, where the staff, feeling they’re under close scrutiny, trot around looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, hoping for a bonus.
It’s the same for the veteran cricket team, who are washing their whites, limbering up and hoping the opposition won’t notice that Old Father Time has already given some of them a bit of a pasting.
Elsewhere in the village, an old nemesis appears, an olive branch is proffered and an era ends.

If the Grey Gables staff need the dagging shears… it would explain quite a lot.
