The Aldridge family used to talk so loud, the Aldridge family used to walk so proud; now, two of them two of them scuffle out of the village, anxious to avoid all eyes as they make a harrowing journey across the Borsetshire countryside. They hope that this grim pilgrimage might put things right, but there’s more than a chance that their journey will end in bitterness and regret.
Kenton and Jolene, brought to the brink by Covid, cast a cold eye over the ashes of their business, then dust themselves down and get ready to start all over again.
There will, however, be no starting all over again for two sworn enemies who come face to face this week.
