Ummm, so it would appear. For the moment. But they are cunning, very cunning, and keep us akimbo (I think they meant ‘agog’ but someone nicked the dictionary along with the archive) and on the edge of our seats - and they wonder why the audience is dropping off…
While I deplore the Occasion of Puppy, I rather liked the fact that Lilian actually likes the poor wee brute, and that Justin was accommodating and slightly smitten himself.
There is no excuse for any of the above and it was a filthy shoddy trick on the part of Matt. But what would you have Lilian do, eh? It is not as if she can’t afford the creature or hasn’t the time to train it and exercise it if she wants to.
