I was thinking the same thing. Whose money did she use and how? Normally she just tells Brian he has to pay but he will not be in the mood to do so at the moment. Did Jennifer cough up?

She didn’t admit to it when Brian muttered words to the same effect as my post. And she hasn’t seen Kate all week.

I find it curious that Phoebe and Jennifer are only a bit fed up with Kate, not totally fed up. And Phoebe wanting people take Kate seriously - seriously - are they serious?? Surely even they can see that the reason people don’t lies with Kate.
