Could anyone help me.
I was asked elsewhere what happened regarding Russ’s wife & Lily when they met.
I thought she was young, possible another former pupil, and she effectively said Lily was welcome to him.

She was younger than Lily was expecting, certainly.
Whether that indicated active lying by Russ or a clichéed and self-serving imagination on Lily’s part was not explored/resolved, iirc.
