Highly unlikely. Not a serious enough drinker before - serial bingeing, but not years of hard graft on the hard stuff - and the timing is wrong. Unless they want us to think she has been upchucking more or less since she was released from hospital and just not mentioned it (also, she’d have stopped by now, or gone on to worser things).
It could of course be tbtb being clueless about withdrawal (see also ‘pregnancy’)…

Well, yes, that was my thought. Alcohol is after all Bad (except for People Like Us).
Or maybe her intestines are just making a bid for freedom, which would be entirely understandable.
