No to Willen

Had a terrible premonition when listening earlier; surely Will and Helen aren’t going to bond over single parenthood and become an item?!

And give up their martyr status? As if!

That baster would always be in the background. Maybe they could call it ‘Nic’ ?

I don’t think so, Kara. They have always been friends; Will was the only person who was able to talk rationally with Helen after Greg killed himself, and she has never been as patronising and shitty to him as she is to most people. But it has always been distant, because they have otherwise got absolutely nothing in common. Just both being single parents won’t unite them: she is the ultimate in selfish, he is rather the opposite.

Actually, that makes it more, rather than less, likely, when you think about it.

Spose maybe. But I am not sure he is unselfish enough to saddle himself with two more children that are not his – three of those and six in all is rather a lot of children in a small house, even if he does only have two of them part-time.

In RL, that would almost certainly be true, but in TA the child count could yet prove as reliable as the bedroom tally.

“2.4 children, on average over the year.”
