Radio Times Ambridge Diary Nov 27-Dec 2

When Ben faces his tutor about his problems, he receives an unlikely piece of advice, but Ruth and David can’t stop worrying, while Rex won’t give up on his friend. Everyone’s thoughts turn to Christmas, with Stella & Pip getting crafty, and Rosie looking forward to her Nativity. Meanwhile, Mick gets in a muddle when he volunteers for a community project. Tracy is determined not to let her money problems get in the way of Yuletide, while Jazzer’s equally set on making it special. But Jolene feels like she’s playing gooseberry with her own Mother-in-law. Can anybody help?

Down, not across” seems fairly obvious to me in the circumstances

So what advice from the tutor that was unlikely did we hear on air? It seemed to me to be the least surprising, in fact the least anything, talk with a tutor I ever came across.
