You may well be right there, Dunnock. I remember Cole Bros in Sheffield, which was our nearest JL, & wonderful. It was worth a day out on the ‘bus or train, with lunch in their restaurant. If we didn’t buy anything, simply walking round & getting ideas was brilliant, & it was often the cheapest because of their ‘never knowingly undersold’ policy. Fishy, after abit of digging, I have just found what you want on the Dunelm site. Faux wood, 25mm slats, £45. You can order instore & return them if they aren’t right. As I said before, you might have to accept that the fixings may have to be adjusted. Phew Vodka please Carinthia. xx ---

I too was up at the crack of stupid this morning, fully clothed, as a van was coming to take Stuff away any time from 0730 on. Two NYM - well, I say ‘young men’ but one was basically an embryo in work boots - turned up at around half eight, which was pleasing. Didn’t take them long to shift it, either. ---

Oooof flump! I was at ye olde plague pit having my lung function tested and then was x rayed chest and sinuses Then I visited the vampire and had only 8 vials full of blud taken to amuse the lab folk Then I found that the leftover pork joint was hooj so I have a dinner ding as well as a dinner for tonight Lovely J wielded her knife and did the cooking of a rather lovely sweet and sour pork - a Friday night fakeaway a la me Beer might happen soon ---
