Bluddy Ell, Birdie. That’s cruel I have been on the ‘bus to the Co-op & Tiny Tesco. I have to sort myself out with this outing, because, _once again_, I had an full Tumbril _and_ 2 full shopping bags. I hadn’t got the requisite ‘oomph’ to walk back to the ‘bus stop, which lies between the 2 stores, so heavily laden, so, I had to have an taxi home. Am flumping Innan Mighty Manner. Howsumevva, I _do_ have chips, wot were reduced in the Co-op, so that will be part of my supper tonight. 😊 Carinthia. xx ---

I have been wondering why green peppers seem to have pretty much disappeared these days. When eating out, I mean. Chefs seem to include the sweeter red peppers and the (imo) sickly sweet yellow peppers in every second dish but never a green pepper to be seen. I guess I could have answered my own question there - are they under the impression that every customer wants every dish to be sweet? If so, they are wrong, there is at least one customer - me - who most definitely does not. ---

Perhaps they are following American taste? When i first got a bread maker I soon learned I had to halve the sugar and double the salt from the American recipes. ---

I could cheerfully do without yellow peppers but eat a lot of red and green ones. I prefer the green ones, too. Sitting, awaiting the builder’s return visit, I could eat anything at all. He’s not even answering his ‘phone, the blighter. Soo xx ---

At least Peri was not giving tongue at her usual 100 decibels I am another green pepper fan It gives more flavour to a dish than red yellow orange or white peppers do ---
