So, who wants to help ... to cavort in the cellar?

GINGER/GARLIC POTATOES

Ingredients

625 g (1 lb 6 oz) Potatoes
Piece of Fresh Ginger, about 2 x 1 x 1 inches, peeled and coarsely chopped
3 Cloves Garlic, peeled
3 Tbsp Water
1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
5 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

Method

Boil the potatoes in their jackets. Drain and let them cool completely. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 3/4-1 inch dice.

Put the ginger, garlic, 3 Tbsp water, turmeric, salt and cayenne pepper into the container of a food processor or blender. Blend until you have a paste. Put the oil in a large, preferably non-stick frying pan and set over medium heat. When hot, put in the ginger garlic paste. Stir and fry for 2 minutes.

Put in the potatoes. Stir and fry over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until the potatoes have a nice, golden brown crust on them.

Beautiful swans, Soo!

Is anyone having trouble getting into Peet’s Mustardland? I get re-directed to Cloudflare so I think I have been accidentally blocked. There have been bot invasions slowing down the site as I’m sure any of you who post there are aware. Would anyone of you who post there mind checking if you can get in? I stupidly forgot to make note of the email that steenbok gave out to contact him if anyone got accidentally blocked. It’s something like mustardlandhost at gmail but I’m not sure.

Same thing with me, Janie, although obviously I’m not a member [grinnity].

Oh, thanks, Gus - you are missed there, I know!

It’s reassuring that it’s not working for you. Even as a non-member the site should load since they even allow guests to post.

Edited to add: yes, it’s a general problem, I checked on ‘The Archers in Mustardland’ and everyone is having the same experience. Steenbok, the technical admin, mentioned on Peet’s yesterday that he was going to be using Cloudflare (or considering it, not sure which) - whatever that is - to solve the bot invasion problem, so I can only guess he is working on it now.
