So, who wants to help ... to cavort in the cellar?

That is a grate relief to me, TFM.

It’s a fine looking breakfast, for sure. I’d never have considered Guinness for breakfast, but I am considering it feverishly now.

Our girls will be back tomorrow, to escape the mess and racket of the renovations. Thankfully, GD is very happy to sleep in our travel cot and is almost unfailingly cheerful when awake.

Either an example to us all or an intolerable Pollyanna in the making? [evil grinnity]

Enjoy the day, wee Bee.

Gxx (unfailingly something-or-other, but open to Guinness for breakfast. On the cut, it often was.)

Does that make me insufferable?

I try to giggle at my problems and be cheerful

I also want certain people in TA bedded in a long painful manner

A bit confused. One of them looks a bit unusual…

And yes - he’s absolutely convinced that he’s a chicken! We surmise that he was raised - maybe even hatched - by a hen.

But what do the chickens make of him? Do they accept him as one of their own or does the poor little chap feel excluded?

One of Granny’s hens reared such a bird. When the little thing took to the water for the first time, Henny was absolutely distraught (in the way only hens can be).

Bluish-grey skies today. Not so good for camouflage.

Could be worse though.

We are just delighted that the children from our townland. are calling all dressed up and enjoying digging into a tub of Cadbury heroes

One Mama even did her escorting dressed in a sheet on a frame with ghosty features

I think that is above the call of duty in the pouring rain

It is a joy knowing that the wains see us as a place to enjoy the traditions of Samhain

Mr Bee dug out all our usual Halloween paraphernalia, we had treats waiting and had not a single caller. Meh.

I have done something horrible to my lower back. It’s very painful and, should there be no improvement by tomorrow, I shall have to seek advice.

Not a like like. I do hope it settles overnight. Lots of well-wishing here.
