It has been very wet here and I’m very glad that we had the conservatory roof and guttering repaired. Blinds will be fitted to the conservatory, tomorrow.
We had scallops with peppers/shallots/garlic/herbs and crusty bread for dinner and it was good enough.

I made myself an very fine ham sandwich onnan buttered Tiger baton & had a bowlful of the celery, apple & onion salad too.
I managed to walk to Tiny Tesco and back in the pouring rain & I didn’t shrink a bit!

Yesterday, I had to replace an 2ft fluorescent LED tube. It came with an impressive amount of bubble wrap.
My appointment with Rheumatology at the Orsepiddle tomorrow has been cancelled. The Nurse is ill.

Well deserved (and needed) I’d say.
The conservatory blinds have been expertly fitted and we’re well pleased with them. Unfortunately, one of them hadn’t been included in the box, so we must wait until the 20th to have the job completed. No biggy, as some say.

There have been no fireworks here yet, and I am starting to wonder what’s wrong!
No fireworks here either, but then there were hardly any last year. The middle of nowhere is a very civilised place.
