So, who wants to help ... to cavort in the cellar?

The closest I have ever got to that was in a discussion of the whole Templar conspiracy nonsense, when I came up with “never attribute to the Chalice what can be adequately explained by cupidity”.

(Though I did quite like summarising the MICE* principles as “a template for treason”.)

* Money, Ideology, Compromise, Ego: a broad categorisation of reasons why people betray their country.

My flowers smell beautiful, & the lilies are coming out innan very exotic manner.

Any news from the Plague Pit, Twellsy, or are you still doped-up on the Gin supplied by That Birdie?

There is a wee birdie sprawled on a drip stand in my window ledge puffing a pipe and blowing rude signs at the crows outside

Should I worry?

Rashers (smoked streaky), big flat mushrooms and tomatoes nearly ready. How do folks want their eggses?

Over and easy, please.

Wasn’t ‘easy’ at all as it happens. First shell: normal. Second shell: reinforced concrete, resulting in a broken yolk and a peeved Gus.

Bah! But broken yolk still tastes as good. Thank you.

Having a peaceful time at my PC after a fairly busy day with DD, GD and wor excellent decorator finishing off the ‘master’ bedroom. The hive is now properly painted in colours, and not white, grey and black. Monochrome suits some, but deffo not us. I managed to provide the grown-ups Goan prawns with Gujerati green beans and rice, for lunch. GD enjoyed teeny prawns, toast, grapes and a banana. Now? An ice-cold SB. Slàinte!

And how is Twellsy faring? Hope the Gin supply is holding up, Twellers, and that you are generally comfortable, even though you do want to be somewhere different,

I am on the hammock

That’s a definite improvement. Or at least, assuming there isn’t a snowstorm at the moment it’s a definite improvement. If there is a snowstorm, go indoors at once!

(The hammock isn’t indoors, is it?)

The hammock is on the terrace and was used until the sun went in

I now have beer

Then you are home, hurrah!

(Assuming you mean your own terrace. Or have you rigged up a hammock on a terrace at the hospital? I wouldn’t put it past you!)

Home with new meds and assorted physio. exercises and cats and beer so I am comfortable and about to dine on posh sausages and nice bread rolls with flavoursome salads from the fancy Dunnes shop in stab city that we passed en route home and popped into for good quality ready meals that are actually good enough to pass off as one’s own cooking…
