A good afternoon was had and all’s well. The new Labrador is utterly delightful and well past the Andrex Puppy stage, the proto-bedspread was approved, and Sudden Daughter now owns Untitled Document
What a very lucky daughter. I hope she was suitably delighted.
She could only be so.

She and her wife seem very pleased about it. I don’t think the young dog cares one way or the other!
My son will be over from Norway this month and can collect his Sudworth: Untitled Document
I got my children one each over the years, and I think it is time for these pictures to go to their forever homes. I’ve had them on my own walls for a good long time, after all.
The one for Other Daughter isn’t on the website drat it, but it is a cloudscape in greys and pastels above a very dark ground, not unlike the upper and the lower parts of this one with the sunset/sunrise colours in the middle missed out: St. Nectan's Glen
(Which is the wrong title: it’s actually “St Materiana’s Church” unless the website has gone mad, in which case I can’t do anything about it.)
Lucky fry that our Fishy has spawned
Wanna puppy
Any make but if possible a poodle a Yorkie or a slabberdog
A sensible use of his time, I feel.
He is Glorious.

Flurflesome and then some. Fine junior dog.
Will you all please stop posting photos of gorgeous dogs. I am being tempted almost beyond endurance.
I love sea parrots
Basically anything with fur or fevvers is going to be adored by me
Sorry about this, TFM, but after a somewhat trying day, I have been greatly cheered by Loki cuddles. Six-year-old Border/Huntaway cross and utterly lovely. Loki is something of a misnomer, I feel.
Very like the DDD, except without the white nose-stripe.
Indeed.
He’d had a tiring day, supervising dry stonewalling, so found it expedient to lean on me and go to sleep.
I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in.
How’s the cross stitch, me dear?
Owowowstoppit.

Hmph.
That’s about correct. Singular, or not far off anyway.
The theme for the Christmas Craft show on C4 today was Christmas Jumpers.
The 4 contestants brought their jumpers with them, & knitted a bit of summat to match during the programme.
I was struck by how uncomfortable they all looked at their work. The man taking part was standing up to knit, & with chunky wool, which was horrible.
His jumper was fabulous, though.
