Well, a digestive system that copes with flattened sun- baked badger ought to be able to cope with my pastry (other opinions are available, but currently they are fighting over the alka-seltzer).
Farinaceous substances probably aren’t great for the dear huge things, but I remain confident that the sausage roll thief will be All Right.
Himself recalled with fondness an occasion when a yellow-legged kite took a boerwors from a very small child’s plate when it was tottering proudly away from the braai.

Yer bees are buzzily ticking things off a list. Today, Fiesta had its aircon sorted (at a terrible cost). Preparations must happen for the replacement of the conservatory roof which commences on Monday. Next weekend, the birthdays of SiL, DS and BiL occur and a reaction will be expected. Pfft. We’ve broached a bottle of Chenin Blanc.
