Just looked out the kitchen window to see a yellowhammer staring back at me. Not seen one in a couple of years so delighted to see them back.
We see them occasionally, joe. Beautiful little birds!
Off to the Vicar’s (it’s not yet thundering).

Is this the vicar who jumps into bins?
It was just the once, and it was only a little bin…
Certainly is, Gus. He managed to restrain himself, this arvo. No thunder (boo hiss), either.

…and he didn’t inhale
Snork!
We were put in charge of the Raffle - a heady responsibility, I can tell you. You should have seen the prizes! Several tickets weren’t acknowledged and this was put down to the ‘fact’ that we’d bungled the whole thing, but we didn’t. Hmmmmm. We won a candle (Hot Stuff, it’s called) and it’ll be going straight into the next coffee morning grab-a-prize-draw). I’d thought that it was a tin of cat food. The food was decent and it was a bit ovva larf, to be fair.

Would anyone like a cumberland sausage?
I cooked em in the air fryer and refreshed some crusty rolls as well
I recommend speed as they aren’t half bad
Would a swim fish?

Hastily puts more sausages on to cook
I believe that’s what’s known as the “Cumberland Gap”
That might have been me, Carinthia.
Sorry.

I love Molesworth! Can’t help it., I’m afraid.
A crushing headache has now descended upon me (too much slight turning of my head while sitting down, this arvo) so if I don’t return, this evening, I’ll prolly be in bed. Bugger it to heck and back.
