Some posters on the RA board said that they found them useful, & I wondered if the might be of use for Sciatica.

You’re right: any such scheme would have been suspended. But the devices are relatively far less expensive than they used to be, too. I’m probably thinking about 1980ish re the ‘borrow first’ arrangements, so not terribly relevant now…
