So, who wants to help ... to flummox the cellar?

Much the same here but with quite a strong wind thrown in.

Bacon butties sound an excellent suggestion, but accompanied by tea for me. This has also cheered me, though I have no idea what it is supposed to be about…

Surely the whole point in such a scenario is to be waited upon?

All in good time.
I imagine wor Chatelaine has better things to do right now. Hopefully a long lunch in company with people she hasn’t seen in the flesh for the best part of two years.

There were lots of lovely leftovers which were rescued before the hotel was legally obliged to bin them, so we have dined on an magnificent cheese board, Cornish Pasties, cheese & onion pasties, coleslaw & salads.

More later as people are tooing & froing ATM.

Sounds wonderful, Carinthia!

My Internet connection has been rubbish. I can report that we have seen a seal and are having a grand time in lovely weather.

I want to pronounce that as ‘toyngue and froyngue’. In fact, I am doing so;- )

If the fruits of one’s loin
Are unduly froyngue
Tongue-lashing and ear-bashing
Should see you foyngue.

Yes, we needed some, as itizz just that bit too far, so he spent half an hour at Morrisons, cursing.

He is cursing again today, as the latest ‘initiative’ /proclamation from the T*ats nominally in charge ovvus is that they think that the HGV test should no longer include reversing…

You couldn’t make it up…

The knee thing has been fairly random but I think that the walk down the very steep path to Morwenstow Church, & the standing around, has aggravated it. It’s the ‘braking’ action required which is so hard. Walkung uphill is much easier.

Oh lor’. Yes, steep downhill is a bugger. As for the no reversing…

Good to know you’re tanked up, as it were.

There may be puddings to fry as well

I have a pudding that is a small business that Lidl have taken under its wing to taste…

White pudding marinaded in tomato and a hint of chilli

I think it will be gorgeous

Not really a fan of hints of chilli: too much forran Fish and not enough forran Sparrer. (If we could put all the chilli from two puddings into one of them…)

This is an Irish hint of chilli

Equivalent to a blow with a hurley bat - a yard of good ash wood wielded by a fit young well muscled person in a form of warfare masquerading as a sport while trying to hit a heavier form of hockey ball sans rules of engagement
