So, who wants to help ... to flummox the cellar?

Ooh, Soo

A question for you:
A friend has arsked me about Silk Pillock-cases, & I wondered where you had bought yours from.

They do vary in quality, &, of course price.

Mr Bee bought ours from Calidad Home:

I bought Sis (for a BD present ‘top-up’) one from M&S and she is very pleased with it. We find ours very comfy, but haven’t turned into gloriously smooth beauties, sadly.

Thank-you Soo

22 Momme* is a very good quality one. The cheaper varieties are 19
Momme.

*The weight & quality, rather like a thread count

The brand leader seems to be ‘Blissy’, also 22 Momme, & starting at £59 for 1, going down to £35 ish each if you buy 4.

Amazon have cheaper 22 Momme, & also some at 25 Momme under £30 each.

Having bored you all rigid with my extensive Reeeeesearch, I will do the same to friend, in an email. This sort of silk is not available to Ornery Mortals, or even Chatelaines to buy by the metre, as we only tend to import dress-weight.
Goes orff to look at Patra for a final fact-check…

Remember to take the international date line into account when planning a Mothering Sunday crawl (like the King Street Run but with more prosecco and freesias).
