That dread feeling of having wounded an innocent? Know it well and Iām pleased that you are not guilty ovvit, Gus. Youāre in early stages of recovery and need to cut yerselā some slack. We have a man happily playing with the most enormous pressure washer in the drive
He has removed all algae and moss from the terrace and patio and is just finishing the drive off
When he gets more water as the washer uses more water than our pump can supply
So tons of waterit is
It looks like the day the whole lot was installed

Itās not even the innocent bit that is upsetting, itās when it was by accident. (Some innocents need to be stomped on, especially the faux-naif sort.) Itās the doing it by accident thatās annoying. If I stomp people I want to have the fun of planning it, and do a really thorough job.

I saw part of a TV programme yesterday in which it was suggested that they were prolly made in the same factory.
When Lidl/Aldi first came to Britain, I am told that their biscuits were awful.*
*Mr C was an connoisseur of custard creams.
As they settled in, & started to take quite a share of the market, things have improved immensely.

They worked out which people to buy their biscuits from to get the same biscuits but in different packaging as eg McVities for the chocolate ones, I forget who it is for the custard creams but you canāt tell them from the far more expensive brand, and oaties, and so on.

The nice doctor who reviewed me the other day advised me of the aging process and to take care of myself as I had enough disabilities without osteoporosis causing bone weakness
I pointed out the industrial quantities of calcium tablets I chew daily and the sheer amount of vitamin D to help absorb the chalk and he was slightly mollified
Apparently my bones should snap like twigs

There are certain things that I can taste the difference in though, as Iām sure is true for many ovvus. Itās either the smell, or the aftertaste with me.
Poor Gus doesnāt have that problem ATMā¦
Posh, who can only taste very strong stinky cheese since her dice with death/Covid last year, has started with Manchego wiv chilli on TUC crackers.
