So, who wants to help ... to flummox the cellar?

That’s a pity, wee Bee, but prudent.

I’m pleased that I hadn’t got around to ironing my frock. I’ve stuffed it back into the wardrobe for next time. Mr Bee is delighted that he’ll not be required to be awake past 22.30 - well, he knows that I’ll be here to man the emails and texts. Going to Aldi for some gin.

I am pleased that B’s Christmas present arrived in the post today

Cobweb weight Shetland wool and the pattern for a 56" square shawl

That should keep her busy for a week or two!

What, the pheasants that wouldn’t even be there unless people had wanted them there to bang at in the first place? Yeah, those buggers need controlling, all right.

Gus the pheasants that are now thought of as indigenous and delicious as they have been here for so many centuries

Since our rough bog grazing land has no other bird that exploits such land the peasants fill an ecological niche

In which case can the poor wee bastards not get on with it in peace? Yeah, I’m a hypocrite. I eat meat & game, and have shot myself… and clearly missed;- )
Some introductions aren’t bad, exactly, but most have been a bit of a disaster.
