So, who wants to help ... to flummox the cellar?

Look on the bright side. Feral would want something more along the lines of “never mind all the dancing rabbits, just show me how to get a root prompt so that I can use this general-purpose computing device that I have bought. What do you mean you won’t allow me a root prompt? [refund]”

I really hope the Bull and Feral never meet

They would retire to the computer cave and only open the door to receive food and beer…

I am kindly sharing my hotwatering bottle with an Oaf. This involves more claws than one might expect: when I patted it and said ‘warm!’ and shoved it under the covers, he heard ‘Game!’, but he won’t tell me the rules.

In fact, while typing that I must have won, because he is now Sulking at me. Laurels for a Limpet.
Brrr. Snuggle.

DS has been and gone. He is such a breeze to feed - veg pasta bake with chorizo for him and me, extra smoked paprika for Mr Bee’s portion and one to send back for DiL. Toffee and pecan roulade for pud (M&S).

The kettle has landed! The Ma’s kettle decided to break itself at her on Tuesday. Although (of course) she had the ancient hob job in the garage, I thought replacing it was better done sooner than later, and it turned up this afternoon and has been pronounced ˈkɛt l satisfactory. So that’s all right.

ETA: yummski, Soo!

I am going to confess to a seriously idiotic deed.

Sis and I have scored for essential hypertension, from the Irish side of our Family. Given that Dad died at 46 from a catastrophic stroke, wouldn’t you think that I, at 66, would order my medications on time? Not so. I imagined that I had a fortnight of pills left and hadn’t. I have had nothing good to say about my GP Practice, but I left an emergency notelet for them, yesterday, having been unable to contact them for over a day and I am now (clearly) not dedded from a stroke or heart attack - both of which felt likely. Thank goodness for Atenolol and Bendroflumethiazide. Credit where it’s due and it’s not with me.
