The truth is l, I don’t know! Three LFTs in a week negative - yet rest of household positive? Go figure, as they say…
I did not get infected when I was looking after That Fish…
Which was just as well, or who would have brought me regular ice-cream?
(Or did I hallucinate that?)
Well, on a different subject: I’ve now got my microphone! Joe, I ran with your suggestion, and now have a Rode NT2-A set up. I was able to source a “pig-tail” to connect the mic to my radio, with XLR mic connector and a jack for connecting a PTT switch - getting a pre-made “pig-tail” saved me having to fiddle about with the 6P6C connector the radio takes, but I did make up my own PTT, it’s an “LYB” (Little Yellow Button). My main problem was power: neither I, nor anyone I knew, could figure out if the radio supplied the necessary “phantom power” or not (some amateur radios do). I found out soon enough, the mic arrived late last week - and didn’t work. Fortunately I had already ordered a “phantom” power injector, on the basis that it wasn’t that expensive and I probably would need it - and it was delivered this morning. Happy days, all works - reports received suggest that using the “roll-off” improves sound quality slightly but noticeably (no difference noted between 40hz and 80hz roll-off).
Thanks, Joe! Now get fully and properly well
Now you know what I get in conversation with the Bull!
Perfectly comprehensible to them as is techie minded
I am not!
That “like” is a ten-for-effort, Bull; I am not going to mark for comprehensibility to the lay-fish.

Sounds very sensible. I have to go shopping. Brrrrrr.
Orrible, innit.
I have discovered the joy of high waisted jeans
You can sit down without exposing flesh
If the legs aren’t long enough, you can find yourself flashing a bit of ankle, brazen hussy style
Oh, and that reminds me, joe: any disruption to sense of smell/taste?
Taste well on the way to normal, but smell isn’t, and fluctuates. Moving in the right direction, though.
That is why socks were invented Gus dere
I am sorry to bear sad news: this afternoon the Dear Delightful Dog had had enough of life and left us.
I am desperately sad for her death, but happy for her life and all the joy she carried with her.
RIP DDD
Not a ‘like’, of course. A fine and delightful dog, whom it was a privilege to know.
RIP, dear hound.
