Arrangements for OMCB? Hoping things fall out to everyone’s satisfaction, and wishing you a Bolstering Gin, me dear.
Gxx
Arrangements are the plan, yes. All a bit daunting, to be honest, she seems to want to take an awful lot of stuff with her. And then there’ll be a flat to sell and all the stuff she didn’t take with her to deal with…
More like a busy year than a busy few days, thinking about it.
I think I need more than one gin.
< proffers large and brimming bucket >
Good luck with it all, me dear.

(Tries to leave large and brimming bucket for TFM.)
It all sounds potentially worrisome and exhausting, TFM dear. All the best from yer bee.
Soo xx
Have the Spare L&BB, me dear.
Have fired up both the Quattro and the Candles, TFM

Oh. Bother. Nightshirt on inside out.
Well, it will have to Do.
Goodnight, all

Sets a case of Gunpowder gin by TFM’s chaise before announcing bacon butties ready
Passes platter of bacon butties to a wee birdie
I am off to get my hair beautified this morning
Passes empty platter back. No need to wash up; every speck of grease has been carefully removed.
You don’t need to wash up until you have fish.
Twirl twirl
Will I do?
You’ll pass with a shove, dere. And stop that twirling, you’re making me giddy.
On a completely different subject, it’s fair bemusing how many different colours are called “teal” when you are looking for teal to be in accordance with somebody’s chosen colour scheme for an occasion.
Yep that’s what I think of when I hear teal mentioned
Is it the shade at the top or eye end of the flash or the base/neck end that is being referenced, though?
The answer is evidently “yes”.
And the colour most people seem to think of as teal ought more properly to be called mallard.
I feel for you, Fishy. I always think of Teal as either being Teal Blue, or Teal Green and, whilst I know exactly what I mean, translating it into reality is not always so easy.
I once sent Mr C to Fred’s with a note asking for a skirt zip in ‘Menopausal Green’ & the tiniest bit of thread from said skirt. Fred’s, being on my wavelength sent exactly the right thing…
When dressmakers can’t get an exact match on threads, they either go rogue, & use whatever colour is on the machine (!) or do the sensible thing, & use grey, which goes wonderfully with most ‘iffy’ colours.
As I was altering new & expensive clothes, I would do everything in my power to get a match, but 1 or 2 strong grey threads on the overlocker blended beautifully.
Not a wishy-washy grey, or indeed a dark one, like Clerical grey, but pewter or gunmetal would work, & then you can muddle 3 shades of Teal with impunity.
