So, who wants to help ... to flummox the cellar?

Have woken up for the 3rd time today

Have ordered Chinese…

I’m rather partial to a good, non-bulgy Pug, Soo. And I would love to walk with you in your ends.

I have a bit ovvan problem with short-nosed Dogs. Having been brought up with Collies, Terriers and other useful working Dogs, I find Pugs a bit snuffly and inadequate to many tasks. You can have all of the brachycephalic types to fuss over on our proposed walkies, together:

ETA: I must have my beauty sleep, so I shan’t frighten That Poodle. Best dreams, all.

Goodness you are a blood thirsty wee birdie

G was up last night with her father and was a joy to feed

Her father was his usual self a bottomless pit to feed

Tapas with garlic bread and minute steak rolls and a summer pudding with cream

I was pleased with the pudding it turned out perfectly and kept its shape even when cut
Quite satisfying to introduce folk to a pudding that was a new thing for them to try

And to have it turn out perfectly when I have seen chefs on the telly end up with a plate of gloop was a moment of pride

I shouldn’t boast

My Mother had a 2pt white pudding basin which was used for summer pudding. I didn’t like the texture of the soaked bread though

Didn’t like ‘pobs’ either…

Mothering Sunday in much of the world today & I have received Photies of friends sitting outside at the campsite eating their Lunch.

Will you be able to go to Carinthia this year Dear One?

I can’t be doing with soggy bread or cake in a trifle or overly drizzled cakes like black Forrest gateau

I would love to, Twellsy

It always does you good to be with your furrin friends

I had G saying last night was a weekend trip as she never knows the menu and where I will take inspiration from in my cooking

As she has no time to herself what with her pharmacy and caring for her father she appreciates home made stuff

She has me booked to play with her new cooker so I can teach her how to work it

This means a full four course dinner for however many people she invites

As well I love cooking isn’t it?

That’s because it is/they are very nasty, Darling

I’m sure one of you will come along and tell me this isn’t an oxymoron, but…

Hmm

You know what I’m like about blue food…

Insofar as “premium” has a meaning beyond “expensive”, it’s not a meaning I’d associate with products of Swansea.

Ultra-Premium too
35.2% so not even bog standard.

“What’s the other 4.8%?”
“Temp workers overcome by the fumes.”

Given that I managed to achieve alcohol poisoning from vodka, not many miles away from Swansea, I’d not touch a drop of the stuff made there or anywhere. Gin, mind…(eventually).

It’s not boasting to celebrate successful cooking, Twellsy. I don’t and can’t make puds, so hats off.

Great time in Embra, gorgeous tapas, happy family, happy Poodle.

Good nights, Cellarites,

Soo xx
