They did have a lovely purple embroidered dress, not maxi I don’t think. Haud on a mintie.
It’s called Nessa, and not petite, dammit, won’t work onna Bee. Oh well. Sorry. But don’t stop: we’re nosey intrested

Intrested izz good. I’m leaning towards a Festival feel for my frock. The last thing I got from a Festival was Swine Flu’, courtesy of DD and Leeds, but this is what the Celebration is meant to espouse. So… Good nights to you, Gus and all. Best dreams,

Sleep tight, wee Bee.
No swine flu allowed; it’s not compulsory at Festivals, I don’t think. Unlike Trench* Foot. Even that can be swerved;- ) and shall be.

*Sandi Toksvig, on her canoe journey, claimed to have developed Trench Bottom. eek.

A Festival Frock sounds lovely, Soo

The dreadful ā€˜Midaxi’ length may suit, if petite is not available.

Some Zara, or the top end of H&M may serve, but Monsoon, or East may be lovelier.
Also, look at Goose Island

I would love a Pitcher, please.

Today has been long & somewhat fraught in places, so I have fired up the Quattro /Candles in quantity. *

I get the feeling that there is Controlled Panic at the bridal house, but they don’t want anyone helping, it seems. Not even with watering the geraniums in their pots: they have one geranium for each person who is coming, minus the ones from Furrin Parts who are not allowed to take living plant-life to the various places they are going back to afterwards.

Me, I have all the necessary garb, and shoes, and the rest, and am calmly confidant, which probably means my hip will give out on Saturday morning.

(What do you mean, more important? More imminent, perhaps.)

Holy Moly, there are some hideous dresses about this season.(bin Looking, for a friend). Wishy-washy pastels, tiers, flounces, aaaargh.

But this is rather nice, I think

Thatizz both pretty, & useful looking.

Wouldn’t the lack of a back be a bit of a nuisance?

Bugger. Missed that.

I rather like this:

I need Mr Bee to measure the 130cm length against my, ahem, diminuitive frame, but he’s busy.

The OSR is ā€˜going over’ and I managed a fairly comfortable walk next to it. The lambs are looking very plump, the ewes’ fleeces are dropping to bits and the horses are as gorgeous as ever.

And, here is Poodle on her garden sofa:

What a fine dog.

I like that dress, too.

Poodle is fab. She adores Mr Bee and tries to pay attention to me, but I don’t quite cut it. When she has been chastised for some misdemeanour or other, she’ll come to me and drop her head between my knees in an act of, almost, obeisance. I think that I’d rather be the Fun One.

Oh Soo

Proffers :cocktail:

That dress is almost 52" long, which would be to just above my ankles, & I am 5’7" tall.
It would need shortening both from the plain green, and the top of the frill to balance.

It could be done, & you know where I am if you need me.

There are times when I hate being a short-arse, but I’m grateful for your advice, Carinthia xx. I must think on.
