Or in my case knotting one stitch at a time!
I learned to knit so I can learn to crochet
I hope

Crochet is easier because there is only one stitch to drop, and only one stitch to “take back” if you make a mistake.
I have given up!

“OK, now, step 2…”
Am cross again
Had a message from the Surgery saying that I need to have a blood test.
I had one last week
I have looked online to check my results to find that there are none…
Sigh

And you didn’t think to let me know??
Sorry Joe
It was a flying visit to blind the bosses with his brilliance
Or I would have been with him
I am now at the Bon Secours clinic in Limerick to have my lower back injected
with stair rods
This should help with the pain that I have there
I keep coming up with pubs I want to run…
Prince Albert Victor
Friends of Juniper
The Goat and Gibbous Moon
I quite like the Fiddlehead as a pub name
I have just spent a total of 42 minutes on hold to the Surgery trying to chase the missing blood test results…
More Coffee required

I am now home having stopped to buy dinner and a gorgeous cactus for the conservatory
I bet that will cause the leopards problems
Orff to the Orsepiddle shortly, for an blood test, & to collect a Prescription.
Still not heard from the Surgery
Sigh

I hope that all goes well, Carinthia.

No worries - I assumed as much! Do give me a yell when you are inthis neck of the woods though - could meet up for a coffee (and offload a few surplus eggses!)
So do I wee bee
I am now looking out at the soggy scene that is our garden
We are under that lot
Joe that would be a delight
Sadly it didn’t, Soo
The taxi was 15 minutes late & the Friday afternoon traffic was very heavy/attan standstill in parts of the town.
Staggered to Suite 9 for my blood test - no paperwork, & nothing on the Pooter.
After 20 minutes of ‘phonecalls with Rheumatology it transpires that I don’ t need more blood tests, but need to take more Vitamin D.
The staff were lovely, & almost as frustrated as me.
On to the Pharmacy for my prescription, except that there are now 2 Pharmacies. One is for Inpatients, & the other for Outpatients.
Staggered orff to the Noo Pharmacy & joined the queue.
When my turn came, there was no electronic record* of the request, so she rang Rheumatology…
After rather a long time on the 'phone, the Pharmacist told me that it had, apparently, been a paper prescription & would, therefore, need to be collected from the Inpatient Pharmacy…
I retraced my (many) steps, & collected my Prescription.
I sat down for 10 minutes before I could summon the strength for a taxi home.
The traffic was appalling, as it was 4-15 onnan Friday afternoon.
I got home just before 5pm.
I have spent £15 on taxis today, & got 56 Folic Acid tablets & a great deal of frustration for my trouble.
There is no alcohol in the house, apart from my Veuve Clicquot. I will summon the energy to get some later…

I see you have selflessly volunteered to wait until Tuesday before sending the worst of the weather our way - by which time I should be en route to Kassel, where the Boss gets to play with a new toy - or rather, gets to hear someone else* play a new piece of hers on it.
*The Slovakian organist Bernadetta Sunavska, I’ve just been informed.
