So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 1)

I have just had a bowl of the vegetable soup, so that’s my 5 a day sorted. The ginger & garlic are driving away the ‘Mondayish’ feeling.

Have been sneezing a lot, but I am sure that it is allergy-related, & not a cold.

I didn’t have the meatballs after all, but they are sitting in the sauce, & I will have them tomorrow.

I notice they were very careful with the camera angle. They want you to think he’s doing something important and dangerous…

Blasted Royal Mail, moan moan grumble groan.

Friday I got an email from them telling me my (v important, to me) parcel would be delivered the next day, Saturday, between 11.15 and 14.15. No parcel on Saturday and still no parcel. Tracking…

No wonder it didn’t arrive on Saturday, Thetford delivery office is not our delivery office. It is, though, at least nearer to us than Peterborough MC or Jubilee MC, where it has now been for nearly three days.

Moan moan grumble groan again. Plus grump!

Lots of parmesan, I hope. Love the stuff.

Me too, TGM. I think that it was from Lidl, their equivalent of ‘Finest’. Anyhoo, the better quality one which is very good indeed.
The meatballs were from Tesco, but the ones from the Co-op are better IMO.

Lidl Parmesan is the only one I’ve met that doesn’t smell to me of vomit. I think it has to do with the butyric acid content - it’s an easy “improver” to add if the cheese isn’t up to much in its own right.

Meant to add, the reverse scenario is actually happening:
