When is the housewarming and do you want cellarati to do the catering?

Congratulations on the new house

I am feeling very chuffed about the meal on offer tonight

A sort of a butter chicken sauce but with lamb and fresh coriander chopped fine and added just before serving

Brown basmati rice and it was a good supper

Is that an offer? Gratefully accepted if so, and you’re all invited in any case obviously. I don’t know yet when it will be though, we need to get new flooring put down before we move in and we don’t plan to rush at it, it would be good to get stuff like curtains etc sorted in advance, so all (!?) we have to do when we get in is unpack.

Gin, Darling?

Yes, it was wurfit, AFAIC. I am very tired & upset, & it was distraction.

The lady of the house brought me more bin bags & boxes, & watched some ovviit with me.
We discussed the copes & uniforms & the quality of the embroidery. She was fascinated, & it was good to talk about summat I know alot about.

I have a book with me. It hasn’t yet come out of the case…

May 6 - a truly historic day. I will always cherish the images of the flags, the air of celebration, the joy - and the streets empty while everyone was inside glued to the spectacle on TV…

I enjoyed the whole thing and the robes were a show of the sheer beauty of things made with love

The new Queen looked so elegant in her outfit and the pride in her looking at Charles was wonderful to see

There were some questionable outfits amongst the congregation

It’s fun looking at them and deciding which could do with half a yard of fabric or a size larger and some of the nats were umm err well just ghastly

The Princess of Wales had a clever headpiece that resembled a tarara but was just a floral thing so she didn’t outdo the new Queen
And a mini version for Charlotte

And how she got Louis to behave for the whole thing is amazing

And now we can have an properly Carolingian

yardarm

(it’s the old yardarm done up in silver foil)
