Morning.
I made 30 scones, of which several have vanished…most of the remainder will go to Saturday’s coffee morning (they’re in the freezer), but I’ve left a few out for takers…
The gasmen are drilling up all around the hive. As one of the holes is right in front of the drive, Mr Bee has parked our car miles away for the duration. I know that I have to get on with it, but I dislike noise and mess greatly. Just as well I’m not living in Ukraine, Sudan or many other places. I may have a strong coffee.

This Hotel is on the local council border, so the number I was given was incorrect.

Am back.
After lighting me Candles at the cemetery I decided to call on an old friend.
I haven’t seen her for 13 years, but I had, previously, made her daughter’s wedding dress in the awning (!)
She was in, so there were lots of tears, & Lunch too.
She has just brought me back.

We have thunder, lightening and one hell of a lot of rain. I was about to get a shower but am putting it off - last time we had thunder we also had a power cut and that would be inconvenient while all soaped up under an electic shower, I feel.
