You lot are all lovely, with all the birthday wishes and treats. We are back, and completely knackered, but I believe the best that could be made of a hospital birthday has been made. I think OMCB was asleep before we were out of the door of the ward, mind.
Heh! One lot of specialist doctors here told me last month that I must drink more water for my kidney function and urea levels, while another have just sent me a booklet which instructs me to drink less water to avoid an increase in water-retention (which I donāt suffer from anyway but they are assuming for some reason that I do).
Not sure quite what I am supposed to do, since the second lot seem to think they are treating me for something urgent which was established in a recent hospital visit with tests ā I last saw that department at the hospital pre-covid, and this sudden emergency was so terrible that I had an appointment with them which they cancelled last October, followed by a telephone consultation this January which they also cancelled, and then a telephone consultation on May 11th for which they didnāt bother to ring me up, but instead wrote to my GP the following week complaining that they had not been able to get through to me for it (a flat lie; I had the phone on me all day, there was nothing wrong with it, and someone else rang me on it that evening so I know it was working). I must remember to ask them when I see them in November when they took these Serious and Threatening Tests; I canāt help feeling that if I were in any sort of actual, mortal danger I might well have died before they got round to seeing me.
