So, who wants to help ... to frivol in the cellar? (Part 1)

I now have a fairly large box with many smaller compartments which holds a week’s pills divided into morning, noon, evening and night, which I fill every Sunday night with pills for the whole week. Then if I have to go into hospital or am away for a day, I simply take it with me. I also have the prescription form-thing from the pharmacy, which lives in the zipped inside pocket of the jacket I always wear, with my passport and credit cards in their metal case.

i did get tea and toast at 9.30pm

i might hobble to the nurses’ station and see if doctors exist

you know like unicorns and fairies do

apparently it’s rammed in a&e so i am glad for my posh trolley and my own room and bathroom

Please try to recline in a relaxed fashion on your posh trolley and keep pressing the alarm button, Twellsy. I must take to the beely chaise, but you are in my thoughts.

Not allowed here, unfortunately. Any meds you bring in are taken off you and, if necessary, re-prescribed. (Unless things have changed in the last four years?).

after the current emergency broken hip is seen in a&e the night CNM assures me that i am next for the doctor

she has given me a gramme of parrots to at least give me something for pain relief
i hope that the doctor understands my charming requests for sleeping pills and morphine

Excellent news. Long day indeed! Hope the infection subsides soon. Well done that Bull.

the Bull is really in my good books

he took our elderly friend J to do her shopping in Aldi and bought a rectangular griddle pan for us and a beautiful acacia wood large chopping board

How to make a Twellsy heart flutter

It is, in my purely amateur opinion, bloody Hot (talking of griddles). Cold meat and salad will happen.

Not ridiculously hot, here. Salmon and veg kebabs with cous cous will be ready, soon.

Chopping boards…mine are glass and they blunt our knives. Very hygienic, look nice, but Mr Bee will have the blades worn away with all of the sharpening.

Fantastic! I’m so pleased to see that, Twellsy.

It is here. Hot and horrible imo. I’m with Gus, cold meat and salad. And cold beer.

The Cellerati may remember my purchase of a large olive-wood chopping board a while back…

I do, but can’t remember much about it, Fishers.
