Always good to receive a compliment! We’ve had an entertaining time on Peebles’ high street. No, really, the variety of shops and people in them is really diverting. And, what did we buy, I hear you ask? 1. A pot of mackerel paté 2. A piece of hot-smoked salmon (I’ll make kedgeree with it) 3. A large roll of insulating foil to put behind our radiators Last of the big spenders. Lunchtime lentil soup was good and the weather was (relatively) mild and sunny. Roasted veg with tortilla chips for dinner. Soo xx ---
