Just sleet showers and coolth, here. We had a bit of a Burns’ supper - veggie haggis, neeps and tatties and whisky/cream sauce. I was particularly happy with the sauce as I made it with Pig’s Nose (cooked off) and finished with Bell’s as I had both as miniatures and nowt else in the hive. I recited the Selkirk Grace in my best Northumbrian twang and we enjoyed a cheese course. Soo xx ---

It’s not exactly mine, sadly, Soo It’s from an traditional Carinthian song called “I hob di gern” where the man tells his lady that he will bring her every star from the sky, because he she is the only one in his heart. Male voice choirs sing it, & it makes me weep. Pauli, our lovely Late friend used to sing it to me. I was once interviewed for Radio Kaernten and, after the interview was asked to choose music\*, & I chose that. \*Innan ‘Down Your Way’ sort of manner… I of course, am not clever enuff to get it from YouTube or wherever for you to hear.
