Can a time-traveller be delayed? Even as a kid, this was always a problem for me with _Doctor Who_. If you can travel in time, why not make an effort to arrive early enough to prevent - or at least warn people about - the forthcoming invasion / plague / exploding planet / whatever? I suspect Douglas Adams had the same misgivings - hence Wowbagger… ---

Anyone who has read science fiction knows about the difficulties of time travel and what a traveller might do wrong. JK Rowling has to be assumed not to have read any SF involving time travel; she makes pretty much every one of the basic mistakes with it. ---

Nothing wrong with using stuff from the 'fridge, Soo. Itizz probably the source of most of my soups, except for the ‘classics’ like mushroom, or leek & potato. I got 2.5kg of potatoes for 27p, so will be cooking for the freezer this weekend.
