This is the first Late Mouse I have had to deal with from him. I am somewhat Disappointed in him. Though I suppose he can’t help it, being a Cat an’ all…

Seems like an appropriate moment to remind everyone of this post from a couple of years ago.

Gawds, Joe

I had forgotten that…

Mr C et Moi were the first to see Gasthaus Cat Millie finally catch her 1st mouse

I could have caught it, it was so easy…

Gasthaus Oma was pleased, though - the cats were not seen as pets, & Millie had , apparently, been an lazy sod until then

If you say so, Darling. I would pay good money to watch that.

Our Millie - generally the gentlest and sweetest-natured of the girls - has developed something of a taste for fresh meeces. Quite the ruthless hunter, in fact.

Honest Injun, it was between 3 & 4" from the sodding mousehole

The mouse obviously thought that the cat, true to form, couldn’t be Harsed…

Mine is drying himself on my work mat and mightily pleased with himself.
It is Wet out there.
Good night, all. Medicinals recommended before retiring.

The bull informs me that his machines feeding stuff via drip are bee-ping in Morse fecking code!

One says Si and the other says B

Why do I have a spouse who talks Morse code to hospital machines?

Good taste?

Because it’s less work than high-speed binary when you’re feeling ill?

Surely Morse is a type of binary as it is made up of dits and dahs?

I have just made a robin very happy

I was dead heading large daisies and I found a dandelion trying to grow in my potatoes

So I hoicked it out and incidentally got a run of buttercups so lots of soil was turned over

This turned up lots of worms and little bugs so robin had a feast for breakfast

That is ridiculous and only 10-15 miles from our house!!!

Not quite as scary as the one at the end of Peter Duck.
