That should work fine, Twellsy. I assume the edges will be stitched together at some point?
But stripes: a Zabbit? or even a Rebra?
Be careful how you store the flour, Twellsy
Canāt help with the knitting, Iām afraidā¦

I am interested in comment.
As you know, I stabbed myself in the left fore-finger with a (clean) knitting-needle earlier in the week. I washed it in soap-and-water and put Savlon and a plaster on it ā it didnāt actually bleed but it hurt and I could see the break in the skin. When I was quite sure it wasnāt bleeding, the following day, I took the plaster off because washing your hands without a plaster on them is so much easier, especially the drying them part, and left it to get on with it.
It still hurts a bit if I press on it, and it now looks just like a verruca: a black dot in the middle and raised yellow skin in a ring around it. Itās not what I would call a scab exactly.
I am trying my best to keep it clean and ignore it, but Iād quite like to know whether this is a normal sort of thing. I can hardly ask a doctor at the moment, and nothing on the internet is the slightest help.
Indeed. Very wet and salty round there. Would you like somewhere in a nice and dry inland county to store it? It will be perfectly safeā¦
It does sound odd, Fishy. But if it is not hot, or becoming sorer, it ought to be fine. I take it it hasnāt got bigger. Has it got smaller, though?
I think the visible dead skin round the edge is new, but it is no better or worse to the feel than it was. Fractionally less painful if anything. Just weird, and therefore disquieting.
If it is still the same tonight, you could, after washing your hands, put a dot of Magnesium Sulfate paste on the black bit. Use a cotton bud so that it doesnāt spread, & cover it with a plaster. Remove it in the morning, &, if there is anything in there, it will have been brought up to the surface.

General advice, shamelessly cribbed:
Monitor the puncture for infection. Minor puncture wounds should heal in less than two weeks. If you notice any of the following symptoms, seek medical assistance immediately:
Throbbing or increasing pain in the affected area.
Redness or swelling of the wound. In particular, look for red streaks around or moving away from the wound.
Pus or other discharge.
An unpleasant smell coming from the wound.
Chills, or a fever of 100.4°F (38°C).
Swelling in the neck, armpits or groin glands.

Only if it is roaming around in the air loose, isnāt that? Should be fine in a sealed bin.
If it is all together, itās an awful lot, & unsealing the bin & getting it out each time could be interesting

Fear not - I have just tracked down a supplier. The basic strong white is out of stock (inevitably) but they do have some proper French T65 - which is what is used for baguettes. 25kg arriving some time next weekā¦

We had two dozen eggs in the house
Friends brought a dozen from their girls - they are not allowed the farmersā markets so they need folk to use up the eggs from 14 henses and their guardian rooster
Bless them the friends came with bandanas worn as masks to ensure I was safe
Anyway we had two dozen eggs
Then the Tesco man arrived
With another dozen eggs
Anyone know any eggy recipes?
