I’ll start to keep an eye out for queen wasps in the bathroom, then. How they get there I don;t know, but get there they seem to, and I prefer to find them quickly.

I am not nearly as allergic to bee stings, & can put bees outside safely
Sodding wasps & hornets, however, are another matter
Fishy, the queen wasps come in through the air brick in my airing cupboard, which also houses the boiler . I do have fly spray- the only aerosols I have, for instant knock down, if the toaster isn’t to hand

Thank you. I am hoping that the pair of them will be okay - DiL hopefully just has the chest infection after a cold or summick - she is being Vague. Friend’s son is a different kettle of fish as he definitely hazzit and he is diabetic and a bit cavalier with his health, generally.
Itizz DS’ birthday! He is pleased with the rather nice rum we sent him through House of Malt but hasn’t, as yet, tasted it. I am bracing myself for a brutal review…

It is lovely and sunny here too, plenty warm enough to sit outside but I haven’t been. I’ve been inside, on the phone to OMCB helping her finish her Tesco order, and trying to persuade her that malt whisky, wine, chocolate and toffees is not enough and she really ought to add some actual food as well.
Sigh.
