I have a memory which tells me that somewhere in a Gerald Durrell book he proudly finds some bananas and gives them to monkeys he has in his charge at the time.

The monkeys all peel the bananas; five eat the banana and throw away the skin, the sixth eats the skin and throws away the banana.

I remember mangoes from a posting in West Africa, quite delicious. Huge and juicy. Never found anything like it again.

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, the start of Holy Week

Churches are closed

It has been suggested that we hang Palm/Greenery on our doors

No Palm here, & the greenery is a very prolific holly tree wot still has berries

Not, under the circumstances, suitable

I have fashioned/bound 3 old palm crosses to make 1 new one

I will piggle , (Technical Term, Mā€™Lud ) ,& find something to stand it in/on, & put it in the window tomorrow
