So, who wants to help... to perpetuate the cellar?

Oh, I dunno.

Sharpen the edges a bit, too.

I have a vague idea that this happens in a Carl Hiaasen - possibly Stormy Weather? They blur after a bit; or it could just be me waterin’ eyes…

Really, really ?

Like, on a neighbourhood Zoom gathering you were actually told you were persona non grata because you didn’t sing a song ?

Wow.

That would lead to extreme non-social distancing here. But, I’m a combative sort, I suppose.

Honestly some folks have little to worry them if people not singing causes shunning to happen

We know that wee bees are to be cherished and their company delighted in so knickers to the intolerant who miss the point of freedom of choice and speech

Now about the Poodle how is she managing without her legions of worshippers?
I hope that she is not suffering from the lack of us too much

If you know that your tribe is in the wrong but don’t want to admit it, it can be very important to you that people should act as though your tribe is in the right. See also loyalty oaths and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Goats think for themselves

Sheep just follow the others

I tend towards the goat mentality

Yup, although the person who said this would say he was joking. He wasn’t. Anyhoo; life goes on in this increasingly bizarre world.

Good morning, all. That Poodle is having lots of swims in the sea as distraction from missing you, Twellsy. I’ll post a pic, anon.

Do I perceive correctly that there was a b*ll involved?

On one occasion with Faithful Hound, we were chucking a ball into the river and she was bringing it back; then on one throw it caught a current and drifted out a way, and she Looked at us, and we said “no, good point”.

But a few minutes later it had drifted in close to a different bit of shore, and she was distinctly disbelieving about going and getting it…

There is usually a b*ll involved, Hedgers. Poor FH. Loss of trust can be tricky for Dogs.

Well, it’s time for walkies. The post-trudge treat today will be banana and walnut cake anna cuppa.

I think it was more a case of “But you said I wasn’t to. Make up your minds!”

She has known all along that we are a bit Lacking, after all.

I suspect that any attempt to be on more than very superficial terms with our neighbours has been set back twenty years or so by our not choosing to go out and play rounders in the street to celebrate VE day – well, it looked like rounders. We were already regarded as A Bit Strange because of computers and so on, and this will have put the tin lid on it.

We may also go to the Wrong Pub; I have never seen any of our immediate neighbours in the wonderful pub at the end of the road, and that too may tell against us.

It was bingo earlier.

I suspect they may be the sort of people who don’t go to pubs.
