I keep wanting to add a third word to that name.

It’s finally got vaguely sensible here. In my Nest wiv the windows wide open, but actually cool enough for the first time in several days.

Only Cab Sauv at ours sadly. No Malbec. And no Crabbies, neither.

The poor Oaf had been completely flaked since early afternoon and only ventured out half an hour ago. His tail took on a jauntier aspect when he realised how much fresher the air now was outside.

Aye. Bastarts. But they did have SR flour, which is useful (not for purposes of inebriation, obvs)

Yeah, with full wheat grains you could at least ferment them.

It’s pouring down, here, at long last. I have just spent a bit of time making a tomato and red onion salsa for dinnertime. No fresh coriander, but plenty of the frozen kind which I bunged in with abandon. Only to discover that I had reached for the rosemary instead. It’s unusual…

Have been to collect my parcel from the depot & decided to brave B&M Bargains as it’s on that side of town. I donned my mask again, & went in, with a certain amount of trepidation, I must say, as this is the biggest store I have been in for months.

No queue to get in, & difficult to socially distance properly until half way down the 1st aisle because there are too many items in the awkwardly shaped entrance.
Anyhoo, it sorted itself out, & I was able to buy my 3l of Dettol Laundry Liquid for £5-99. I use this every day for the gloves & stockings, as they are washed at a low temperature, & no conditioner can be used. Itizz very expensive elsewhere.

Had to join a long queue to pay, & get out, but it was very efficiently managed, & there were 4 tills in use, so not too long to wait.
As I was leaving, I noticed that the queue outside Carphone Warehouse had over 20 innit with no attempt at social distancing

Sigh

Have I mentioned that that Poodle is gorgeous?

I wanna furfle her…

Poodle would lurve the attention - not that she exactly lacks it. We intend to visit her in the middle of July, all being as well as it can be. Can hardly wait!
