I think everyone needs a friend like a wee bee

I have poached my sossiges

And tasted a bit of one

Gorgeous coarse minced pork with onion and loads of herbs and black pepper

They will be CHOPPED into chunks fried and have a tin of beans chucked in and become a sossige and bean casserole affair

May I report on the snag n bean casserole?

It was only gorgeous and the sausages developed a nice crisp crust where the sausages were cut
As soon as he is up to driving the Bull will be taking me to get more of em

I think that it makes the Sossinges both look, & taste better.

Weisswurst, so beloved of Germans are just poached, so they look insipid, & white…

The Buggas serve them with sweet mustard too…

When I had my wee cafe it was a dread of mine that I would served under done sausages

So I poached em and open froze them then when one was ordered I dropped the frozed sausages into a pan of hot oil to brown

By the time the sausages went golden brown they were defrizzed and hot all the way through
