So, who wants to help ... to rattle on in the cellar?

Too late today; I will ask her tomorrow.

You don’t “hie thee to the doctor” in this practice: you ring them up and unless they feel you need a full ten minutes, they talk to you on the phone later in the day.

Aye, the whole “hie thee to the doctor” is old hat, as far as this village is concerned. If you ring them up, they don’t answer. Generally.

They always reply, here, but later in the day may simply say sorry, the doctor has no available slots today.

You’ll, obviously, be insisitng that your swollen foot is assessed as early as possible, tomorrow, Fishers. It will be Friday, after all, and stuff stops after then.

OH is another who is exercising my worry mode, as he is leaping about the back garden, transplanting all sorts of plants, repotting others, in a way unsuited to the weather. I have forced water down his gullet, because I care.

I would if it were still swollen, Soo, but it isn’t. If it were I couldn’t have got even an elf-boot onto it, nor would I have thought of driving. All I need is to establish whether that is normal for a foot with gout in the big-toe joint to get oedema if one sits for too long at the computer!

Speaking as one who has to wear flight/compression socks/stockings every day & compression gloves at night, I would say that it needs to be seen, Fishy

I am supposed to put my feet up as much as possible

My experience of this particular surgery, Carinthia, is that they give me medications which cause malaise. This gout was caused by one of the medications which they give me because of having misdiagnosed my thyroid having packed up. Do you really think I want to give them a chance to make more mischief with my health?

You have stopped the diuretic, Fishers, so oedema could be the result, I guess.

Anyhoo - I am Very Excited about the arrival of The Special Frock and hope that I am worthy ovvit!

Twellsy - you seem to have an infection of the chesticles (else-board). Gentle hugs.

Of course not, Fishy ,but I would be consulting a Pharmacist at least. You have a busy few days coming up, & I don’t want you suffering unnecessarily

I don’t want you suffering at all

Morning all

Soo I do indeed have a chesticle infection - 2nd in 3 weeks!
But more importantly I go to the black pool later this month for a preliminary appointment with the repair shop for a knew knee on the 20th of the month

That’s really quick I think

It is, but not if you have a Chesticle Infection, Twellsy…

Saw on FaceAche this morning that my hairdresser is closed until further notice- apparently the boiler has died, bringing down most of the ceiling & burgering the electrics…
