Calling a Carinthia
The bull has just presented me with a mini sewing machine from Aldi
It’s about two thirds of the size of a Lidl one I have and I am tthinking of making a gored skirt
Is 6 metres of denim enuff?

Close inspection shows that that pattern isn’t for a gored skirt, Twellsy, which is why it takes so much material. It is in deep box pleats, below the waistband .
For a ‘flatter’ finish, look for a pattern which is cut in panels which narrow at the top. Pleated denim does no-one any favours. I’ll have a look in my box of tricks, & see what I can find for you.

Well, you can. But I’m they have terrible difficulty in holding the Bible, or in their case “The Origins of
