Why didn’t you say? We have a surplus here. I was a bit cross with The Dave for buying some when we could easily have given him some and not missed them.
Gus, I think the Coffee Beast and the Insomnia Fairy give parties together.
I’ll try & catch one next time I come to stay, Fishy …
Those ovvus who don’t live anywhere near an Ikea can go abit mad when we do get to one…
I bamboozled a sales assistant in the fabric section last time I was there
Come to think ovvit, that’s happened in Dunelm too
Ahem
Carinthia.xx
It might be easier to list shops in which that hasn’t happened?
What are socktobes?
I have never been to an Ikea
I believe there is one outside the black pool…
But that is no good to me…
Snork, Fishy
It does annoy me that they seem incapable of using the measuring tables correctly & that printing the price sticker seems to involve communicating with outer space
Twellsy, Fishy will have to find you a picture
That’s well beyond my capabilities

An oft-repeated stage direction in The Archers?
Socktopodes.
Bin to the Geffrye Museum, 'cos it’s about to close for a big refurb.

And there was me thinking they were something massively comfortabe for the feet. Bah!

(sorry, thought I replied before)
Ah, but Mrs B. Cat is the tiniest bit defeecient in that department. Or, as the lovely Teenage Vet said once it had been properly removed, ‘Sure, who needs the tip of their tail anyway?’. Poor little beetle got it caught in something Outside. We never did find out what.
I did, however, find the pastry brush.
His
Our rescue moggy came as a tiny kitten aged about eight weeks
He had a broken leg and his tail was injured so he dragged it behind him
He was thrown from a car
He is minus six inches of tall but he is so proud of his remainder of tail it’s comical
The dear wee feller. Rescue moggys are definitely the best. My lovely wee Paddypaws was such a gentleman, and such a good nurse cat: and it was clear that once upon a time way back when he had had a proper home because not only did he understand the noise of the fridge door but he also understood the noise of onions being chopped, which to a gently nurtured cat equals ‘meat follows shortly so sit and look forlorn or weave round ankles and look as forlorn as you can while being sinuous and eager’.
Mrs B. Cat was an absolute cow to him.
This morning we has frost everywhere. Very light breeze, and quite chilly. Keeping me fevvers fluffed up and diving from nest to
Why are you up at the crack of breakfast anyway?
I know why I am, she says bitterly, just having had her face boxed by a lonely and bored cat. Meanwhile incumbent feline is doing Scaffy Insanity because the nice men are here to take away the bins with their big lorry. It gets her excited. As a kitten, she went crazy-bonkers-mad-bonkers-a-bit-more for the coal boat, so she basically likes large noisy vehicles and Activity.
oh well, I like marmalade. Marmalade is nice.
ok, SOTBO but also a rediscovery.
Mornin’ all

Which reminds me, I had an “orange and almond” cake at the Geffrye yesterday which was basically a marmalade cake with almonds on top. Very fine indeed, not too sweet.
Now he tells us…
I am reporting the weather here is NOT amusing
Snerring
And lying
Why could the forecast not be wrong about this?
It’s usually wrong about any other promise of good weather
I have found a difficulty in filing my nails
A snow Bengal
He wanted to help by holding one end of the file in his fore paws and the other end in his mouth while purring and gazing into my eyes with his big baby blue eyes
he is now being a tippet
Ooo Fishy that looks like the ideal thing for yon bull
He insists on socks with the day on the sole so they all get equal wear and he can pair em easily
Are ALL techies so numerically driven?
