I used to work in a uniform and try white shirts with land rovers firearms traffic and flak jackets

They were all white starched loveliness for a good ten seconds

I am officially the nicest person in a wee eight year olds eyes

She is tall and has adult size feet so sparkly shoesies are hard to find for her

I spotted a pair in Primark and snapped em up for her birthday

I am going to bed, there to think happily about my brother and two of his friends taking a Landie to Istanbul and back one summer, with what amounted to a spare Landie in bits packed in it in case the engine failed in any way. (It didnā€™t.) One of the three, the one who had insisted on all the bits coming too, went on to own and run a repair garage in Berkshire somewhere, and made a pot of money before he retired.
